Well... I am actually part of two music groups! One is... ME. I am a solo artist(vocalist/ pianist), but I usually play with an acoustic bass player and sometimes a percussionist. I am in an established original reggae band(UNITY...the band) as well so I am able to have any number of musicians or instruments pending on the venue's request. I write all of my own lyrics and music, but I also am able to play cover songs if necessary. As far as UNITY, most of the songs are original; but we can play some cover songs as well. The type of music(solo)... generally it's "lounge" music. A lot of the songs I've written have a "Norah Jones" or "Jewel" syle to them. As far as cover songs, I do a lot of "oldies" revamped in my type of style. My music can be "story-telling" at a coffee house with just the keys and my voice. My music can be "background" music at a piano lounge with some soft percussions, bass guitar, and me and my keys. UNITY... the band, however... the music can be "dance" music at a bar or club with an entire group of musicians including saxophone, harmonica, trumpet, kongas... Because I am involved in an established band already, the kind of music I have to offer is vast. Whether you're looking for a solo artist or an entire band, I would be able to help either way!
