Jeremy Thomas was born and raised in a small rural town in Kansas. Although he grew up in a small town, he always had big dreams. With music as an important part of his life and with influences such as Bob Seger, Rod Stewart, Charlie Pride and Hank Williams, Jr., Jeremy realized his dream of wanting to perform while in high school. He later took those dreams to Nashville in pursuit of a musical career.
Danny Marx was raised in Orlando, Florida. A self-taught guitarist and song-writer, he became part of a successful band in 1995, playing clubs, parties and other events. When his band broke up, Danny moved to Nashville, where a mutual friend introduced him to Jeremy. The pair started working together and soon they were in Florida performing in front of a packed house of screaming fans at :08 Seconds in Orlando, and at Central Florida’s largest country night club, The County Line Saloon in Melbourne. In 2002, THOMAS/MARX performed at BJ’s in Burbank, CA. and was dubbed “The Hottest Thing Coming Out Of Nashville” by Los Angeles country radio station KZLA. The following year they performed in Disney’s Starry Starry Nights benefit at the El Capitan Theater in L.A. Since then, they have performed on the Fox Morning Show in Kansas City and have recruited some of the best musicians in the Midwest to play in the THOMAS/MARX band. Recently, THOMAS/MARX was honored with a recording contract with Rainysongs Records.
You and your guests will be thrilled to spend an evening with THOMAS/MARX and their superb band as they perform familiar country and rock favorites and selections of their original music from their debut CD entitled FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS. Whether an hour in an opening, supporting or headlining concert or festival performance, or four sets in a club, cabaret or lounge setting, your guests won’t want to let Danny and Jeremy leave the stage.
